Justin Strickland, CEO

Justin started his dialysis career in 2015 as a dialysis technician. In the last ten years he has done pretty much everything. He has been a preceptor since his second year in dialysis. Some of his other accolades are: winning “employee of the year”, the “lead technician” award, “best patient care advocate” award and many others. His passion for dialysis will always be exemplary.

In 2019, he had an idea to open his very own dialysis company. After years of hard work and planning with the help of his mom,Tonya, they finally opened Southwest Renal Care.

Tonya Smith, Co-Founder

Tonya began her healthcare career in the early 2000s as a home-health aid while she worked herself through nursing school. Slowly but surely Tonya eventually graduated from one of the world’s most renowned colleges of nursing. Grand Canyon University is a prestigious private Christian Nursing college that only graduates the finest scholars. Tonya graduated from GCU’s nursing program in 2013 on President’s List. Tonya’s very first job out of nursing school was as a dialysis nurse. In her years of being a dialysis nurse she has lead teams of nurses and dialysis technicians. Tonya was also promoted to Charge Nurse on more than one occasion.

Between Tonya and Justin Southwest Renal Care’s leadership is unparalleled to any other company. They started from the bottom and have worked their way up to becoming CEOs of a fantastic organization.
